Some EMRs refer to the technical drug name while others refers to the brand name (atorvastatin versus Lipitor, a commonly prescribed statin used to treat high cholesterol). erwin Data Catalog could be used to automatically harvest all the drug names and map them back to the central data catalog, reconciling the terms and determining their lineage and any impacts to changing the data design.
