Oracle Tablespace Editor

Use the Oracle Tablespace Editor to add or modify tablespace properties.

You can open the Oracle Tablespace Editor in one of the following ways:

The Oracle Tablespace Editor dialog includes the following tabs:

General Enter general options for the tablespace such as tablespace type, extent management, segment management, logging type, status, and flashback type. The available options for this tab vary depending on the Oracle version and tablespace type.

Storage Enter the storage properties for the tablespace.

Files Enter tablespace files and modify tablespace file properties.

Dependencies Displays the dependencies for a tablespace.

Comment

Lets you enter any comments that you want to associate with the object.

UDP

Lets you enter user-defined property values for the object.

Notes

Lets you view or edit user notes.

The following describes all of the other options available in this dialog:

Tablespaces

Contains all the available tablespaces in the current model.

New

Opens the Create Tablespace dialog where you can specify the name for the new tablespace.

Delete

Select a tablespace from the Tablespaces list box that you want to delete, and click the Delete button.

Generate

Generates DDL for this object during Forward Engineering. If you do not select the check box, no DDL will be generated for this object during Forward Engineering.
