Specify Error Table Options

You can use the Error Table tab to specify to generate an error table and error table options.

Note: This option is available in a Teradata 12 or Teradata 13 physical model. This tab does not appear when you are working with Teradata 2.6.

To specify error table options

  1. Click Tables on the Model menu.

    The Teradata Table Editor opens.

  2. Select the table you want to work with, then click the Error Table tab. Work with the following options:
    Generate Error Table

    Specifies whether to generate an error table for the selected table. If selected, the Error Table Comment section is enabled, so that you can enter comments.

    Error Table Name

    Specifies the error table name.

    Teradata Error Table Database Ref

    Specifies the error table database. Select a database from the drop-down list.

  3. (Optional) Enter a comment in the Error Table Comment region.
  4. Click Close.

    The Teradata Table Editor closes.
