Change the Uniqueness Requirements for an Index

Use the Table Index Editor to change the uniqueness setting for an index in the physical model.

To change the uniqueness requirements for an index

1. Right-click the table index in the Model Explorer for which you want to change uniqueness and click Properties.

   The Table Index Editor opens.

2. Select the Is Unique check box in the Navigation Grid if you want the index to be a unique index or clear the check box if you want the index to be non-unique.
3. Click Close.

   The uniqueness setting is changed for the index and the Table Index Editor closes.
