Add a Table Override Trigger

You can use the Table Trigger Editor to add a table override trigger in a physical model.

To add a table override trigger

  1. Right-click the table to which you want to add a trigger and click Trigger Properties.

    The Table Trigger Editor opens.

  2. Click the New New icon in property editors to create a new object button.

A new trigger is added to the Navigation Grid with a default name. You can change the name in this field.

  3. Use the General, Code, and Expanded tabs to further define the trigger properties.
  4. (Optional) Use the Comment tab to add a comment, the UDP tab to add a user-defined property value, or the Notes tab to view history or add user notes.
  5. Click Close.

The table trigger is added and the Table Trigger Editor closes.

Note: You must select the User Defined check box for triggers during schema generation to generate a table override in the schema.
