QuestAI

QuestAI is a centralized AI assistant hub that enables conversational access to enterprise data that enables you to ask questions in natural language to discover assets, understand lineage, access glossary definitions, and perform stewardship tasks. If you are unsure which AI assistant to start with, a Universal Semantic Assistant intelligently routes queries across specialized assistants for catalog, lineage, glossary & ownership, marketplace, and stewardship, delivering accurate insights grounded in enterprise metadata.

Grounded in authoritative enterprise metadata, QuestAI eliminates manual searches and documentation deep dives, making data governance accessible to every stakeholder, regardless of technical background.

Key capabilities:

  • Specialized Domain Assistants

  • Intelligent Routing via Universal Semantic Assitant

  • AI-Powered Metadata Enrichment

  • Governed AI adoption

Policy Manager

Policy Manager is a new AI‑driven module that enables you to efficiently create, manage, and enforce data governance policies.

Enterprise Tag Groups

Enterprise Tag Groups introduces a structured approach to organizing and governing tags across the platform. This feature replaces the earlier flat tag model with a group-based tagging framework, enabling better consistency, control, and discoverability of metadata.

Enterprise Tag Group Page in Quest Data Intelligence App

The Enterprise Tags module has been renamed to Enterprise Tag Groups, introducing governance-driven tagging capabilities that transform metadata organization from a flat, inconsistent model into a structured, controlled classification framework.

Key Capabilities:

  • Tag Grouping and Organization - Create logical tag groups to categorize related tags with two default groups: Domain and Tags (for backward compatibility)

  • Tag Creation within Groups - Manage tags within specific groups for structured classification instead of scattered tagging

  • Multi-Select Control - Configure whether users can assign multiple tags from a group or restrict to single selection per asset

  • Master Enforcement - Enforce controlled vocabulary by restricting tag creation or allowing free-text tagging to prevent tag sprawl

  • Visibility Configuration - Selectively enable tag groups across Business Terms, Tables and Columns, KPIs, Data Products, and Mappings

  • Tag Lineage and Mind Map Visualization - Track tag usage and visualize relationships between tags and data assets with downloadable maps

  • Administrationand Governance Controls - Manage tag lifecycle with publishing states, activity logs, and comprehensive audit trails
