Oracle Rollback Segment Editor - General Tab

Use the General tab to add and define the parameters for a rollback segment. The following describes the options for the General tab in the Oracle Rollback Segment Editor dialog:

TABLESPACE

PUBLIC

Extents

The options available are:

INITIAL

Specifies in bytes the size of the object's first extent.

NEXT

Specifies in bytes the size of the next extent to allocate to the object.

OPTIMAL

Specifies in bytes the optimal size of the extent to allocate to the object.

MINEXTENTS

Specifies the total number of extents to allocate when the object is created.

Maxextents

Specifies the total number of extents, including the first, that Oracle can allocate for the object. Select one of the following options:

• UNLIMITED
• VALUE

Status

Select one of the following options:

• ONLINE
• OFFLINE
