Edit Code in a Teradata Property Editor

The Code tab appears on selected physical storage object property editors to provide an easy way to edit source code, macro code or fragments of code related to the physical storage object.

To edit code in a Teradata property editor

  1. Open the property editor for a physical object and click the Code tab.

    The Code tab opens.

  2. Edit the SQL code on the Code tab.

    Click an icon to cut, copy, or paste text, or to work with the Text Editor. To add an erwin macro, click the Macro Editor icon Macro Toobox to open the Macro Toolbox. This option is not available if the code type is Assembly.

  3. Click Close.

    The property editor closes.
