Delete a Relationship

During modeling activities, you may need to delete a relationship that should no longer be used.

To delete a relationship

1. Click Relationships on the Model menu.

   Note: You can also select a relationship on a diagram and press Delete.

   The Relationships dialog opens.

2. Select the relationship that you want to delete, and click the Delete icon.

   The relationship is deleted.

3. Click Close.

   The Relationships dialog closes.

Note: When you delete a relationship, the contributed foreign key attributes, foreign key columns, or view columns are automatically removed from the child entity, table, or view.
