Display or Hide the Model Explorer Pane

By default, the Model Explorer pane displays in your workspace. You can hide the Model Explorer pane if you do not want to see the ordered view of your model and its contents. The next time you open the model, the Model Explorer appears in the most recently saved size and position.

If the Model Explorer is not displayed in your workspace, do the following to display it:

On the ribbon, go to the View tab.
Click Panes.
From the list of panes, select Explorer Pane.

To hide the Model Explorer, click Close on the pane.
