Draw a Circle or Ellipse

Drawing objects enhance the appearance of your model and add meaningful graphic or text annotations. You can add a circle or ellipse to your drawing.

To draw a circle or ellipse

  1. Click Ellipse on the Drawing Objects toolbar and position the pointer where you want to include the circle or ellipse on the diagram window.
  2. Click the area and drag from the upper left to the opposite end of the circle or ellipse. As you drag the mouse, an outline of the object displays.
  3. Release the mouse button

You can add consecutive multiple circles or ellipses by pressing the CTRL key before you click on the Drawing Objects toolbar. After you follow the last three steps above, when you click again in the diagram window, another circle or ellipse is created.

Note: You can define default settings for drawing objects including color and font settings by applying a theme using the Shape Editor.
