Draw a Polyline

Drawing objects enhance the appearance of your model and add meaningful graphic or text annotations. You can add a line with several segments to your drawing.

To draw a line with several segments

  1. Click Polyline on the Drawing Objects toolbar.
  2. Click the diagram window where you want to draw the first segment of the line.
  3. Drag the mouse to where you want that segment of the line to end, and click once again.
  4. Continue adding as many line segments as you want to include in the object; as you drag the mouse, an outline of the shape displays.
  5. Double-click when you finish the final line segment.

You can add consecutive multiple polylines by pressing the CTRL key before you click on the Drawing Objects toolbar.

Note: You can define default settings for drawing objects including color and font settings by applying a theme using the Shape Editor.
