Add a View

You can add a view to a model to provide a subset view of a table.

Follow these steps:

1. Click Add a View in the Toolbox and then click anywhere on the diagram workspace.

   A view displays on the diagram workspace. The view name area is active.

2. Enter a name for the view and press Shift+Enter.

   The view name displays above the view on the diagram workspace.

3. Click View/materialized relationship in the Toolbox, select the table you want to use as the source table, and click the view you just created.

   A view relationship is created between the source table and the view. You are ready to begin populating the view using the View Editor.
