Defining PostgreSQL Servers

The following properties are applicable to a PostgreSQL Server object.

    Name Specifies the name of the server  
    If Not Exists Specifies that if the server already exists, no exception is thrown, and no action happens  
    Generate Specifies whether a SQL statement for the table is generated during forward engineering  
General Server Options Server Type Specifies the type of the server  
Server Version Specifies the server version  
Wrapper_Name Specifies the foreign data wrapper identifier  
Options Specifies the options for the server The options typically define the connection details of the server, but the actual names and values depend on the server's foreign-data wrapper.
  1. (Optional) Click the Comment tab and enter any comments you want to associate with the object.
  2. (Optional) Click the UDP tab to work with user-defined properties for the object.
  3. (Optional) Click the Notes tab to view and edit user notes.
  4. (Optional) Click the Extended Notes tab to view and edit user notes.
  5. Click Close.

    The server is defined, and the PostgreSQL Server Editor closes.
