Index Metadata

An index job is automatically created when you harvest a model from erwin Mart Portal to erwin ER360. You can also initiate an index job from the Index Metadata page.

Under Application Menu > Profiles, ensure that your profile has the appropriate permission to index metadata.

View Index Jobs

To view index jobs, follow these steps:

  1. Under Application Menu, click Icon Index Metadata.

    The Index Metadata page opens.

  2. Click the Jobs tab. When you harvest a model, you can see the index job for the harvested model.

Index Metadata

To index metadata, follow these steps:

  1. On the Jobs tab, select a model under Catalogs.

  2. Click Index. An index job is scheduled.

    Once the indexing job is completed, you can search for the updated metadata or objects.
