Save a Model as JSON

erwin Data Modeler (erwin DM) allows you to save a model in a JSON format. This ability enables you to open a data model in cloud based web applications, data localization, and more. To save a model as JSON, follow the steps below:

1. Open a model and select Save As from the File menu.
   The Save As window appears.
2. On the Save As window, enter a name of the file in the File name field.
3. On the Save as type drop-down, select JSON Files (*.json) option.
4. Then, click Save.
   You can see the progress export.
