Defining PostgreSQL Table Column Permissions
The following properties are applicable to a PostgreSQL Table Column Permission.

Name |
Specifies the name of the permission. Set the name of the permission in this field. |

With Grant |
Specifies whether the user can grant this permission to other users or not. |

Generate |
Generates SQL during forward engineering. Clear the check box if you do not want to generate SQL. |

Owner |
Specifies the owner of the permission. Select a role from the drop-down list or click to open the PostgeSQL Role Editor and create one. |

Column Permission |
Specifies the type of privilege against the selected owner and permission. |
Select: Grants permission to read data in the column. Insert: Grants permission to insert new data into the column Update: Grants permission to modify existing data in the column. Delete: Grants permission to delete data from the column. References: Grants permission to create foreign key constraints that reference the column All: Grants all permissions for the column |

Attribute |
Allows you to specify or select a predefined attribute configuration for the column. |
By default no specific attribute is applied for the column. |
- (Optional) Click the Comment tab and enter any comments you want to associate with the object.
- (Optional) Click the Where Used tab to view where the object is used within the model.
- (Optional) Click the UDP tab to work with user-defined properties for the object.
- (Optional) Click the Notes tab to view and edit user notes.
- (Optional) Click the Extended Notes tab to view or edit user notes.
- Click Close.
The column permission is defined, and the PostgreSQL Column Permission Editor closes.
