Defining AlloyDB Databases

The following properties are applicable to an AlloyDB Database object.

  Name Specifies the name of the database  
  Generate Specifies whether a DDL statement is generated for the database during forward engineering

Specifies the owner of the database

  
Encoding

Specifies the character set encoding to use in the new database

 
Tablespace

Specifies the name of the tablespace that will be associated with the new database. This tablespace will be the default tablespace used for objects created in this database.

 
Collation

Specifies the default collation for the database

 
Template

Specifies the name of the template from which to create the new database, or DEFAULT
