Define Db2 LUW Security Label Components
You use the Db2 for LUW Security Label Component Editor to define a component that you want to use as part of a security policy.
To define Db2 LUW security label components
- Right-click a Security Label Component in the Model Explorer and select Properties.
The Db2 for LUW Security Label Component Editor opens.
- Select a security label component and work with the following options:
Click New
on the toolbar to create a security label component. Use the Enter filter text text box to filter a large list of names to locate the one you want to work with.
- Name
Specifies the name of the security label component.
- Element Type
Specifies the element type. Select from the drop-down list. Select from one of the following values:
Array: Select this type to define an ordered set of elements.
Set: Select this type to define an unordered list of elements.
Tree: Select this type to define elements that are arranged in a tree (hierarchical) structure.
- Generate
Specifies whether or not to generate DDL for this object during Forward Engineering.
- Work with the following fields on the Security Elements tab:
- Name
Indicates the name of the security element.
Click New
on the toolbar to create a security element.
- (Optional) Click the Commenttab and enter any comments that you want to associate with the object.
- (Optional) Click the Where Used tab to view where the object is used within the model.
- (Optional) Click the UDPtab to work with user-defined properties for the object.
- (Optional) Click the Notestab to view and edit user notes.
- (Optional) Click the Extended Notes tab to view or edit user notes.
- Click Close.
The Db2 for LUW Security Label Components Editor closes.
