Change the Font and Color of Text
You use the Annotation/Shape tab of the Model Shape editor to change the font and color of the annotation text and change the display properties of the annotation.
To change the style of an annotation
- Right-click an annotation and click Override Fonts and Colors.
The Model Shape Editor opens.
- Click the Annotation/Shape tab and work with the following options:
- Font Options
Specifies the default font styles for the selected drawing object. Click
to change the font style details. You can also choose to inherit, override, or harden this setting.
- Vertical Alignment
Specifies the vertical alignment position of the text in the annotation. Select from the drop-down list; valid values are Center, Top, and Bottom. You can also choose to inherit, override, or harden this setting.
- Horizontal Alignment
Specifies the horizontal alignment position of the text in the annotation. Select from the drop-down list; valid values are Left, Right, and Center. You can also choose to inherit, override, or harden this setting.
- Text Handling Style
Specifies how you want the annotation to adjust itself when you enter text. Select from the drop-down list; valid values are Clip text to drawing object size, Wordwrap to drawing object width, and Resize drawing object. You can also choose to inherit, override, or harden this setting.
- Fill Options
Specifies the default fill color for the selected annotation. Click
to change the fill style details. You can also choose to inherit, override, or harden this setting.
- Line Options
Specifies the default line styles for the selected annotation. Click
to change the outline style details. You can also choose to inherit, override, or harden this setting.
- Outline Options
Specifies the default outline styles for the selected annotation. Click
to change the outline style details. You can also choose to inherit, override, or harden this setting.
Click OK.
The new style for the annotation is saved.
