erwin Data Modeler

  • erwin Data Modeler (erwin DM) is now available on macOS for all editions. This version supports all features of erwin DM.

    RE and FE are supported only via JDBC connection to databases.

    For information on installation, refer to the macOS installation section in the Install erwin Data Modeler topic.

  • Google BigQuery support has been enhanced with:

    • New property sets for Table, Column, and View objects offer more flexibility.

    • The Function object now supports aggregate functions for SQL and JavaScript user defined functions.

    • Index object now supports search and vector indexes for improved search results and data retrieval.

  • Snowflake models now support Dynamic Tables to simplify data engineering and enhance data transformation.

  • Forward Engineering wizard now has a search box on the Object Filter tab. It enables you to search objects (tables or collections) for all SQL and NoSQL databases.

  • The option to double-click an object to open the editor is now available for NoSQL models.

  • Several defects have been fixed. For more information, refer to the Fixed Issues List.

erwin Mart Portal and erwin ER360

  • Parallel job execution is now supported.

  • The Session report now displays Group information for group users.

  • Session report is now available for erwin ER360.

  • The Profiles module now includes permissions for Views, Collection, and Worksheet modules.
