You can perform all your modeling work on the diagram window. Each diagram window contains the objects that you need to design either a logical, physical, or dimensional model, such as entities, relationships, tables, attributes, and columns. The diagram includes drawing objects such as shapes and annotations. Also, it includes options to hide and unhide entities, viewes and materialized viewes nodes from the diagram and focus only on necessary nodes.
You can use the Model Explorer to quickly navigate between objects in the Model Explorer and the diagram window.
