Rename an Entity

You can use the Entity Editor to rename an entity in the logical model.

To rename an entity

1. Right-click the entity on the diagram that you want to rename and click Entity Properties.

   The Entity Editor opens.

2. Select the entity name you want to rename in the Navigation Grid and enter the new entity name in the Name box.
3. Click Close.

   The entity is renamed and the Entity Editor closes.

You can also rename an entity in the Model Explorer. Double-click the entity in the Model Explorer and enter the new name in the edit box.
