Defining Teradata Authorization

The following properties are applicable to a Teradata Authorization object.

  Name Specifies the name of the available authorizations  
  Database Specifies the database to which the object belongs  
  Association Type Specifies the type of authorization

DefinerTrusted: Indicates that the authorization object has the privileges of a trusted database user associated with the creation of the external routine

InvokerTrusted: Indicates that the authorization object has the privileges of a trusted database user who invokes the external routine

Trusted: Indicates that the authorization object has TRUSTED privileges with a keyword

  Use Replace Syntax Specifies whether the REPLACE syntax is used  
  Generate Specifies whether a DDL statement is generated for the object during forward engineering  
General OS Domain Specifies the domain name for the OS user  
OS User Specifies the OS user

Specifies the name of the permission

 

Generate

Specifies whether a DDL statement is generated for the permission during forward engineering

 

Passwords will not be stored, but you can use a UDP to generate a password for forward engineering.
