Live Permission Checking in Mart

In the previous versions of erwin DM, when you updated a model in Mart that was created by another user, permissions were checked when you saved the model. Now, permissions are checked when you add, modify, or delete a model object.

The following rules apply:

If you update a model created by another user, you must have the Modify permission on the model, and its individual objects too.
If you update a model created by another user and have just the Modify permission on the model, you can add new objects.

If you are updating a model created by another user and you do not have the necessary permissions, you have the following options:

Designate the model as a new model and become the owner of the new model.
Modify the model and flag it for the Mart Portal's approval. If you select this option, you can continue with modifying the model. When you save the model, a request is sent to the Mart Portal to save the changes.
Cancel modifying the model.
