Project Explorer Overview

The Project Explorer provides an organized, ordered view of your project and the objects within it. You can use the Project Explorer to create new projects or edit existing projects by adding new models and modifying current models in the project.

The Project Explorer is divided into two sections: the Project Explorer toolbar and Project Explorer pane.

In the Project Explorer pane, database models can be organized within or outside folders and subfolders. You can have as many folders and subfolders in a project, but a folder can have only one level of subfolders in it. The project and its contents are saved to erwin Mart Portal or your local machine in the same order and structure as specified in the Project Explorer pane.

The Project Explorer toolbar and the Project Explorer ribbon provides you with options to work on projects, such as:

The Project Explorer lets you perform the following actions:

  • Rename a model
  • Delete a model
