Remove a Column From an Index

Use the Indexes tab in the Table Column Editor to remove a column from an index.

To remove a column from an index

1. Right-click the column in the Model Explorer that you want to remove from the index and click Properties.

   The Table Column Editor opens.

2. Click the Indexes tab.
3. Clear the check box next to the index name in the Index Membership list.
4. Click Close.

   The column is no longer a member of that index and the Table Column Editor closes.
