Viewing Impact

A technical asset may act as a source, target, or both in mapping projects. Impact analysis of a technical asset displays the impact of the technical asset as source and target. Additionally, impact analysis of tables and columns display:

• Indirect (upstream and downstream) impact
• Other impacts (business rules, source extract SQL, and lookups)

To view impact of an asset, on the <Technical_Asset> tile or page, click Impact.

The asset impact page appears. For example, the following image displays impact of an environment, Informatica.
